What info2fuel does and doesn't do
Plain English: what info2fuel does for fuel buyers and sellers, what it never does, how it is paid, and what the free tools can and can't tell you.
What we do
- Publish free pre-deal tools: Scam Check, Price Check, Market Snapshot (EIA data) and a Document Kit written by info2fuel
- Run an anonymous trading portal where verified buyers post requests and verified sellers post offers
- Check counterparties before any introduction: company records, the people, a live call, documents, procedure, sanctions lists
- Put confidentiality, non-circumvention and the fee in writing (NCNDA/IMFPA) before introducing anyone
- Introduce buyer and seller and relay documents unchanged, keeping the chain as short as possible
- Tell you honestly when we can't help or when an offer doesn't hold up
What we don't do
- Own, store, refine, sell or ship petroleum products, or take title to them
- Hold client money, escrow funds or issue bank instruments
- Charge upfront, registration, “processing” or document fees, or forward offers that require them
- Guarantee that any deal will happen, at any price, or that any counterparty will perform
- Give legal, tax, investment or technical advice; templates are starting points for your lawyer
- Broker sanctioned-origin product, Russian-origin fuel oil, or non-existent specifications like “JP54”
- Work as one more link in a broker chain: offers from long chains are usually not forwarded
How we're paid
Fees, in plain English
Free
The website, Market Snapshot, Price Check and Document Kit. Scam Check is free to use; see the one condition on the right.
Brokerage fee
Only when a deal between parties we introduced completes, per the published schedule: a per-unit fee that falls with every completed transaction, down to a permanent 0.025% of FOB value from the 21st. Who pays is written into the IMFPA before any introduction.
Scam Check condition
If you close a deal on an offer you checked with Scam Check and earn a commission on it, 2% of that commission is due to info2fuel. No deal, nothing owed. Terms (draft, pending legal review).
The info2fuel app costs $0.99 once in the App Store / Google Play (the stores keep part of that). It contains no purchases and doesn't change any fee above.
Fees and results disclaimer
No guaranteed results. info2fuel does not promise that you will find a buyer or seller, close a transaction, reach any volume or price, or earn any commission. Fuel trading involves commercial, credit, performance, regulatory and fraud risk, and many proposed transactions never complete.
Tools are informational. Scam Check, Price Check and Market Snapshot use published heuristics and public benchmark data. A low risk score does not mean an offer is genuine, and a high score is not a finding of fraud by any person. Benchmark prices are U.S. EIA spot assessments with approximate conversions; regional cargo prices differ. Always verify independently and take professional advice before you sign or pay.
No testimonials, no invented numbers. This site does not publish client logos, deal counts or success rates. Any figures shown come from public data (EIA) or from the output of our own tools on your input.
Fees. The fee schedule shown on this site is the one in force on the date displayed; the signed NCNDA/IMFPA for a transaction governs that transaction. The Scam Check success-fee condition and the perpetual fee clause are drafts pending legal review.
Not advice. Nothing here is legal, tax, investment, compliance or technical advice, or an offer to buy or sell any product.
Check the offer first. Then deal with someone accountable.
