Frequently asked questions
Answers about info2fuel's free Scam Check, prices, fees, the anonymous trading portal, document templates, the $0.99 app and account deletion.
Is the Scam Check really free?
Yes. Scam Check, Market Snapshot, Price Check and the Document Kit cost nothing and need no account. To see a Scam Check result you give your name and email and tick one condition: if you close a deal on the offer you checked and earn a commission on it, 2% of that commission is due to info2fuel. If you don't close a deal on it, you owe nothing. The terms are at https://trade.realengage.app/terms#scam-fee (currently a draft pending legal review).
Does a low Scam Check score mean the offer is genuine?
No. Scam Check looks for known red-flag wording, procedures and prices. A clean result only means none of those were found. A real deal still needs the counterparty verified, the product location confirmed with the terminal or refinery, and independent inspection.
Do you ever ask for money upfront?
Never. info2fuel doesn't charge upfront, registration, document or “processing” fees, and doesn't forward offers that require the buyer to pay storage, injection or dip-test costs before product is verified. If someone claiming to be info2fuel asks you for money, email info2fuel@realengage.app.
How is info2fuel paid?
Only when a transaction between parties info2fuel introduced completes, per the published schedule: a per-unit fee that falls with every completed transaction, down to a permanent 0.025% of FOB value from the 21st. Who pays is written into the fee protection agreement (IMFPA) before any introduction.
Who is info2fuel for?
End buyers (fleets, marine, aviation, distributors, industrial users) and real sellers and product holders (refiners, terminals, traders with title or a verifiable supply contract). It is not a marketplace for broker chains: offers from long intermediary chains are usually not forwarded.
Will the other side see my company name?
No. On the portal both sides see only anonymized codes (for example “Offer O-1234 by S-2017”). Contact details typed into a post are removed automatically. info2fuel makes every introduction itself, after both parties are verified and the agreements are signed.
Where do the prices come from?
From the U.S. Energy Information Administration (EIA) daily spot price series: Brent, WTI, New York Harbor and Gulf Coast diesel, Gulf Coast jet and gasoline, Mont Belvieu propane. They are cached twice a day. Per-ton figures are approximate conversions. Regional cargo prices (Rotterdam, Singapore, Fujairah) differ by freight and local spreads.
Are the Document Kit templates legal advice?
No. They are info2fuel's own plain-English starting points for an NCNDA, IMFPA, LOI, ICPO and a verification request. Have a lawyer in your jurisdiction review any agreement before you sign it.
Which products do you work with?
EN590 10 ppm, ULSD (ASTM D975), Jet A-1, gasoline, VLSFO/HSFO/fuel oil (verified non-Russian origin only), LPG and named crude grades. Offers for non-existent specifications such as “JP54” are refused.
What does the app add, and why does it cost $0.99?
The website and every tool on it stay free. The app adds what a website can't: price alerts pushed to your phone, the Document Kit offline (fill in and share as a PDF), Scam Check from a photo or PDF of the offer, and portal notifications. The one-time $0.99 covers store listing and running costs; there are no subscriptions, in-app purchases or ads.
How do I delete my account?
In the app: Settings → Account → Delete account. On the web: trade.realengage.app/account/delete. Or email info2fuel@realengage.app from your account's address.
